Learning Objectives:

• Learners will learn the concept of ambiguous loss and its relevance to the refugee experience.
Learners will identify the mental health impacts of ambiguous loss on refugees, such as identity distress, trauma symptoms, and family functioning issues.
• Learners will apply findings from the research to improve clinical practice with refugees and incorporate strategies that address the impact of ambiguous loss.
