Learning Objectives:

• Learners will differentiate treatment as usual (counseling and medication) from Neurocounseling and Neurofeedback by explaining core concepts of neuroanatomy, neurophysiology, neuroplasticity, and the role of neurophysiological dysregulation in client functioning.
Learners will assess neurophysiological dysregulation by identifying its nature, causes, and consequences, and by applying the essential components of a Neurocounseling assessment to determine contributing factors in client concerns.
• Learners will develop ethical, evidence-informed Neurocounseling treatment plans by selecting strategies to restore healthy self-regulation and evaluating the benefits and limitations of Neurocounseling and Neurofeedback through client case examples.
