Learning Objectives:

• Participants will describe the current status of Medicare provider enrollment in light of changes to federal law that went into effect in 2024.
Participants will analyze the relationship between counselor participation in the Medicare program and the evolution of counselor professional identity.
• Participants will explain how changes to the Medicare program impact the counseling profession in regard to accreditation, specialization, and counselor training.
