Description: This session focuses on recent relevant research conducted by the lead presenter examining high school bullying gender differences. This session focuses on recent relevant research in which we found that male students both experience and perpetrate significantly more physical bullying and experience more verbal bullying. Consistent with the tend-and-befriend model, girls choose prosocial responses significantly more than boys, whereas boys are just as likely to choose antisocial as prosocial responding.
