Presenters will provide a brief description of changes in the DSM-5-TR with special attention to those most relevant for counseling practice and counselor education, including information from APA’s Supplementals.
Learning Objectives:
1.Participants will understand diagnostic criteria and relevance of Prolonged Grief Disorder.
2.Participants will understand how to integrate attention to race, gender identity, and discrimination within the context of diagnosis.
3.Participants will identify at least 5 changes to diagnostic criteria sets relevant to counseling practice and counselor education.
