It can be challenging for counselors to identify who the client is, especially when counseling couples and families. The same report stated that failure to clarify the nature of the relationships the counselor will have with each involved person represented an average expense of $8853. This educational content, sponsored by HPSO, provides counselors with risk management practices to identify their clients.
